Chapter Twelve – Blake

“You’re all set to go, Ms. Wilkinson.” Said My nurse, Sally, handing me discharge papers.

I had only been in the hospital for a couple of hours and they were sending me on my little way. The gunshot wound I suffered from was minor and they didn’t want to keep me longer than necessary. They removed the bullet, patched me up, gave me pain meds and a prescription and basically told me to get the fuck out.

But I didn’t have a ride and that bugged the hell out of me, only reminding me of the nice ass G-Wagon I couldn’t push because of Beatrice’s evil, conniving ass. I could easily call Neef to come get me but the last time I talked to him, he sounded pissed the hell off. I knew he was, and probably seeing me was the last thing on his mind. I put myself in a fucked up situation and I knew he couldn’t wait to go off on me about it.

The moment I saw him pulling up on some G shit I regretted being over there. I didn’t want to be on that damn block in the first place. Not after witnessing the faggotty ass bullshit I witnessed. I didn’t even bother going back over there after catching Mone in the middle of whatever the fuck that was. I ran over to Kolby’s so got damn fast. I couldn’t remember the last time I had been in her house, but that day I ran right inside of that mothafucka. I stayed over there until Neef picked me back up. I didn’t even speak to Brittani. She didn’t know about Beatrice not being my momma yet neither. So today, she and Kolby ended up popping up over my house shortly after I told Neef I was just going to kick back. They wanted to get me out of the house because they knew I was fucked up behind the shit I just found out.

Mone though? A homo-thug? Down low, boy-pussy loving ass nigga! I swear I was so thrown the fuck off by it all that I was sort of in denial. Like, I kept replaying the shit over and over in my head, trying to figure out a way that it wasn’t what it really was. Brittani said it had been going on for some time now. I asked her why she was putting up with the shit and she told me she really wasn’t. She and Marv wasn’t even really together anymore. The entire relationship was a front so that he and Mone around without raising any questions. She said the only reason she agreed to it, and keeping her mouth shut, was because Mone gave her a crazy amount of bread to keep shit quiet, and because if she did open her mouth he would kill her ass.

Catching them having sex in her house that day surprised and pissed her off so much because Mone had ended up getting them a fuck-pad not too long ago.
